Job Description

Cogeco Communications Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's overall strategy and direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Collaborate with senior executives to develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans that drive business growth and success.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives and projects that have a significant impact on the business.
  • Provide Strategic Guidance: Provide strategic guidance and support to senior management and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Conduct Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis and research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats that impact the business.
  • Develop Business Cases: Develop business cases and proposals to support strategic initiatives and investments.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in management, strategy consulting, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingualism: Bilingualism in English and French is strongly preferred.
  • Professional Designations: CA/CFA/CBV or other similar professional designations are considered an asset.
