Role Overview

Rogers is on the lookout for a Director of National Sales to spearhead our operations in the Eastern region. As a pivotal leader, you will play an essential role in driving and managing all sales activities within this area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver revenue and performance targets across various platforms, including News & Entertainment, TotalTV, Broadcast, Digital, OOH, and Connected TV.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to create forecasts, strategic plans, and gap analyses to meet established objectives.
  • Lead discussions with agencies, support contract renewals, and cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers in the Eastern market.
  • Oversee the management and fulfillment of significant agreements with agency partners.
  • Drive the achievement of regional revenue goals by inspiring and guiding media sales account managers.
  • Collaborate with other National and Local Directors to formulate effective market and regional sales strategies.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape to provide insights and intelligence that inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and execute key account strategies for major clients, ensuring alignment with their goals.
  • Utilize Client Solutions and Multiplatform Solutions to enhance market share.
  • Support the Vice President of National Sales in various initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key clients and Rogers Business teams.
  • Represent Rogers Sports & Media at regional forums and strategic planning sessions.
  • Implement a consultative sales approach that adapts to consumer needs and drives revenue growth.
  • Identify long-term opportunities and develop a sales roadmap to leverage them.
  • Empower platform sales leaders to make informed decisions.
  • Focus on achieving established KPIs, including financial metrics and client satisfaction.
  • Promote the adoption of tools and training across all Rogers brands and platforms.
  • Enhance communication and collaboration through Salesforce CRM.
  • Provide training in key account management to ensure disciplined growth.
  • Facilitate negotiation training to maximize revenue outcomes.
  • Utilize Revenue Planning reports for a comprehensive understanding of performance metrics.
  • Engage the Insights team for data-driven proposals and superior customer service.
  • Foster a collaborative environment among platform leads and their teams.
  • Manage budgets and market expenditures effectively.
