Key Responsibilities:- Stay up-to-date on Strive's mortgage products, services, and innovative technologies, as well as competitor offerings.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Mortgage Insurance products, services, and eligibility.
- Identify and nurture long-term broker relationships, increase originations, and expand the broker network in the Alberta and Prairies region.
- Establish and meet commitment targets for broker relationships, supporting Strive's overall origination plan.
- Effectively communicate and market Strive's products and services to existing and new broker clients, presenting to various group sizes.
- Highlight the benefits of Strive to broker clients, including a better lending experience, exceptional service, and innovative leadership.
- Create a marketing sales plan, including annual and quarterly goals, and volume forecasting; meet with broker owners and their brokers, obtain business volume commitments, and forecast results and estimate total potential business volumes.
- Escalate issues, obstacles, or trends to Senior Management as appropriate, with recommendations and solutions.
- Manage assigned budgets effectively.
- Attend and participate in broker-related industry events throughout the region, both within and outside regular working hours.
- Prepare weekly sales logs and appointment schedules.
- Provide industry-competitive analysis, including pricing, products, and programs, to the Vice President, National Sales.
- Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, with a focus on sales and/or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of two years' experience in the mortgage industry, including experience working with third-party vendors and external partners.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high aptitude for building client relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Competency in Microsoft Office and capacity to learn new technologies and systems, such as CRM.
