Role Overview
Lorandus, a One10 Company, designs engaging and inspiring virtual & live events for employees & channel partners. The Business Development Director is responsible for strategy, research and the identification of new targets and winning new business for One10 and Lorandus. This role is measured on sales volume and integrated solution selling of technology and service offerings.
Scope of Work
- Hunter mentality - with a love for solving customer problems and building relationships
- Cultivate senior relationships across both internal departments and with external clients; interface with sales enablement, oversee proposals, and work with product to serve the prospect
- Serves as the “face of One10” and initial contact for new clients
- Create vision and pursue new markets while achieving revenue targets.
- Maintain extensive knowledge and research of outside environmental factors, such as changes in industry standards, new technologies and competing trends
- Responsible to mentor, provide client servicing guidelines and in conjunction with daily support teams
- Qualify inbound leads and create organic demand through outbound techniques and social selling
- Understand advanced financial concept (Income Statements, P/L, ROI, campaign pro-forma plans, and client point of view) and make sound decisions surrounding the financial performance of the account
- Ensures that resources are wisely invested and aligned with the strategic goals of the organization
- Provide leadership to account team by example, creating an environment of open communication and respect and trust
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing and/or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of business development, technology sales and/or marketing experience
- Expertise in B2B Enterprise SaaS preferred
- Sales Training a plus
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Excellent strategic, conceptual, and leadership skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to translate client needs and expectations into innovative strategy and effective solutions
