National Account Manager Job Description

The National Account Manager is a key role within Rentokil Initial, responsible for driving market growth and expanding our presence in the Canadian market. This is a 100% new business contracted sales position that requires a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a strategic approach to business development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver targeted sales results and meet or exceed sales targets
  • Work closely with the marketing team to generate leads and develop marketing strategies
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including canvassing the market for prospective clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at national accounts
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote Rentokil Initial's services and solutions
  • Maintain accurate records and update CRM systems, including pipeline management and forecasting
  • Design, price, and generate proposals for new service programs
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure Rentokil Initial remains competitive
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in a services industry
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong focus on business development and growth
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically
