Account Executive Job Description

At Apple, we're looking for a highly skilled Account Executive to join our Sales organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive account plan to drive business growth and identify opportunities to expand our presence in the telecom market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic account plan to achieve sales targets and grow Apple's business
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior partners to craft effective customer value propositions and drive sales through the carrier channels
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners, including C-level executives, to develop a focused and productive alliance with Apple
  • Stay up-to-date with market activities, account history, and emerging trends to identify new business opportunities
  • Support the Account Lead in developing tactical plans and activities with the carrier to achieve sales targets

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of extensive account management experience in Canada
  • Successful track record of growing business account relationships as a National or Global Account Manager at an OEM manufacturer or FMCG
  • Deep understanding of the telecom business in Canada with a customer-focused consultative mindset
  • Multiple retail channel management experience, including channel development skills and the ability to interact at senior levels

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Intellectual capability to explore new opportunities in the market and comfortable dealing with ambiguity in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor to drive win-win outcomes for both the account and Apple
  • Drive to go beyond the industry norm and demonstrate creativity in problem-solving, ability to think dynamically and outside of the standard convention
