About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at PETRO-CANADA(A&W). As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service counter attendants and food preparers to ensure exceptional customer service and quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other relevant metrics
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced food service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
Work Environment
