Overview

Lbb Specialties Holdings Llc seeks an experienced Principal Business Development Manager to join our team in Brampton, ON.

This is a full-time exempt position with up to 40% travel. The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of relationships with key Principals targeted for double digit growth. This includes identifying, acquiring, and delivering quality products for Lbb Specialties Canada Vertical.

The selected candidate will grow the business of existing products and develop new supplier relationships to ensure overall growth year over year. This position may manage Principal Manager employee(s) and will be responsible for performance management, training, team building, and succession planning.

  • Build and strategically manage relationships with defined list of Principals
  • Develop and execute annual principal strategy plan (including QBRs, growth goals, competitive analysis, sub-vertical alignment, scorecard, etc.)
  • Perform portfolio gap analysis to drive new principal development activities
  • Track monthly, quarterly, and YTD performance of Lbb vs. principal plan, and review key variances +/- with SVP
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor of Science required
  • 7+ years business development and/or commercial experience in specialty chemical distribution
  • Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of the Industrial Specialties consumer and marketplace trends particularly in oil and gas, water treatment, and CASE.
  • Previous experience managing global principal/supplier relationships preferred
  • Previous people management experience preferred
  • Good understanding of supply chain
