Administrative Support Coordinator for the School of Health and Wellness

About This Opportunity:
We are seeking an Administrative Support Coordinator to join our team at Cambrian College's School of Health and Wellness.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will provide administrative support services to enhance the efficiency and level of service provided through the departmental office. This includes acting as a liaison between the Dean, Chair, students, faculty, and external partners, completing general administrative duties such as scheduling, attending and taking minutes for meetings, and coordinating office operations.

- Act as a liaison between the Dean, Chair, students, faculty, and external partners
- Complete general administrative duties such as scheduling, attending and taking minutes for meetings, and coordinating office operations
- Monitor and record attendance for full and part-time employees and prepare bi-weekly payroll reports
- Coordinate all matters related to the Dean's schedule, ensuring that appointments are made when necessary or appropriate referrals made
- Maintain an orderly and welcoming office environment, greeting all visitors in a professional manner and assisting visitors in locating campus resources and services
- Ensure smooth daily operations of the office by developing, implementing, and maintaining effective and efficient office procedures
- Coordinate and support Program Advisory Committee meetings
Requirements:
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A two-year postsecondary diploma, or equivalent, preferably within Administrative Assistant, Office Administration, or Business Administration
- Five years of experience as an administrative assistant within an educational setting, with experience working within a health care environment
- A high level of accuracy, confidentiality, integrity, and tact
- Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- The ability to work as a member of a team and work independently
Salary:
$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
