We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Senior Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Cambrian College's School of Health and Wellness.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide administrative support services to enhance the efficiency and level of service provided through the departmental office. This includes acting as a liaison between the Dean, Chair, students, faculty, and external partners, completing general administrative duties, and coordinating office operations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide and initiate administrative support services to enhance departmental efficiency
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders, including the Dean, Chair, students, faculty, and external partners
  • Complete general administrative duties, such as scheduling, attending meetings, taking minutes, and data/file management
  • Coordinate all matters related to the Dean's schedule, including appointments and referrals
  • Maintain an orderly and welcoming office environment
  • Ensure smooth daily operations by developing and implementing effective office procedures
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A two-year postsecondary diploma in Administrative Assistant, Office Administration, or Business Administration (or equivalent)
  • Five years of experience as an administrative assistant within an educational setting, preferably in a health care environment
  • A high level of accuracy, confidentiality, integrity, and tact
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • The ability to work as a member of a team and independently
