Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the material supply process to support project needs at Bruce Power's site in Tiverton, Ontario. This role involves planning, reporting, coordinating, and expediting materials in alignment with project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure purchasing activities align with project schedules.
  • Generate and submit Purchase Requisitions for review, approval, and processing.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to expedite critical procurement activities and ensure on-time delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor project schedule milestones and proactively engage relevant teams to ensure timely procurement and compliance with project deadlines.
  • Identify and notify key internal stakeholders of any potential procurement-related schedule risks.
  • Maintain and update the Company Material Tracking File (MTF) for assigned jobs.
  • Support the closeout of Purchase Orders by finalizing procurement documentation and resolving outstanding issues.
Requirements:
  • Bruce Power Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain it.
  • Strong understanding of Purchase Orders and supplier communication.
  • College diploma in business administration, commerce, economics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Material Expeditor, Coordinator, or Purchasing Agent.
  • Experience working in the nuclear generation industry, particularly within CANDU environments.
