About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Mad Ox Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Work closely with our culinary team to ensure seamless execution of menu items.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
    • Collaborate with our purchasing team to source high-quality ingredients.
  • Staff Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and train our cooking staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
    • Provide guidance and support to help staff develop their careers.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Safe Food Handling certificate
    • Emergency First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
    • Food Safety Certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years
