About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Silver Hotel Group. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef and representing them in their absence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Lead the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and waste.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute special events and banquets.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly maintained and cleaned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of leading a kitchen team and achieving high-quality results.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
