We are seeking a driven Sales Representative to join our MagicPace sales team in Toronto. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success and direction of our growth across Canada and the US.

About the Opportunity

As a Sales Representative, you will close technical recruiting mandates with high-growth technology startups. You'll work directly with our founders to craft new sales strategies and build outbound/outreach campaigns to drive new mandates.

Main Responsibilities
  • Build a scalable, repeatable outbound sales pipeline.
  • Build a network of referral sources within the startup ecosystem.
  • Understand customer objections and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Prepare customized proposals and close agreements.
  • Debrief our recruiters for each mandate, ensuring a clear understanding of the role before kicking-off.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying upselling and reselling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to ensure a seamless search/placement process.
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions in the CRM.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 2+ years of experience in field sales, with a strong preference for candidates with experience selling directly to clients.
  • Demonstrated experience in cold outbound and building own sequences.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
