About the RoleThe District Sales Executive plays a crucial role in securing new customer revenue for our district office and Expeditors network. This position involves attracting, closing local accounts, and ensuring continuous business growth within the district.
Key Responsibilities- Timely data entry in our Customer Relationship Management tool
- Create value-added solutions for customers' logistics needs, including network diagrams and cost-benefit solutions
- Support the transition of new accounts
- Support AR (accounts receivable) collection
- Attend training and development sessions to continue developing selling skills and updating Expeditors product and service knowledge
- Involvement in local trade groups, as directed by the DSM
- Make 50 sales calls every month or as directed by DSM
- Have a diversified sales pipeline across verticals and Expeditors services
- Use standard office equipment, including a computer, phone, and fax/copy/scan machine
- Oral and written proficiency in French and English
- Well-versed in the trade market
- 2-5 years of sales experience in the required market
- Strong rapport and relationship-building focus
- Bilingual in English and French
