Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide counselling services to clients addressing psychosocial problems related to injury, trauma, and mental illness.
  • Adept a goal-focused, therapeutic approach for alleviating distress and improving social and occupational functioning.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences to discuss clients' treatment plans and goals.
  • Deliver quality reporting and effective communication with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Registered with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists.
  • Master's degree in Counselling or related field.
  • Experience in case conceptualization and treatment of mental health symptoms.
