We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Sereggela Holdings Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
- Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Team Leadership
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.
- Mentor and develop junior chefs to help them grow in their careers.
- Food Safety and Quality
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Implement and maintain food safety protocols to prevent contamination and foodborne illness.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste and minimize inventory costs.
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that all dishes are prepared to order and presented in a timely manner.
- Respond to customer complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a head chef or executive chef in a high-volume kitchen.
- Skills
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety protocols.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
This is a permanent full-time position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
