About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at 2539752 Ontario Inc. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure the financial health of the restaurant.
    • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a team of servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive a positive dining experience, including prompt service, high-quality food, and a clean and welcoming environment.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure that the restaurant has the necessary supplies and ingredients to meet customer demand.
    • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that the restaurant meets all health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards.
    • Develop and implement procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Working Conditions

The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to work under pressure and multitask is essential.
