Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Wendy's Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our staff, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and food preparers.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive excellent service and that their complaints or concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and ensure that our inventory is properly managed to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff members in their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to help them grow in their roles.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food meets the highest quality standards and that our restaurant is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in a fast-paced restaurant environment, where you will be required to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical Capabilities: You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Personal Suitability: You must be a team player with excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
