About the Role:
The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will assist in leading and inspiring a team in the Resort's Sensei by Nobu Restaurant, while ensuring exceptional service to all guests. We are looking for individuals who share a passion for excellence and who infuse that enthusiasm into everything they do.
The Opportunity:
The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will be based in the Room Service, Restaurant, Bar or Lounge within the Resort. They will assist in overseeing all facets of the outlet including selecting, training, evaluating, leading, motivating, and coaching a group of hospitality professionals. The Assistant Manager must maintain and control a high level of guest service. This is achieved by ensuring consistent and thoughtful service, demonstrated by the restaurant staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading and inspiring a team in the Resort's Sensei by Nobu Restaurant
- Ensure exceptional service to all guests
- Oversee all facets of the outlet, including selecting, training, evaluating, leading, motivating, and coaching a group of hospitality professionals
- Maintain and control a high level of guest service
Requirements:
- At least one year of management experience within food & beverage operations
- Ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote positive public relations, and handle concerns, or special requests for guests
- Excellent knowledge of product, strong communication skills – written and verbal, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- College degree specializing in hotel/restaurant management, flexible schedule, with ability to work overnights, weekends, and holidays, and experience working in a union environment
