We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our Whistler Après Bar team and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Restaurant Manager at Vail Resorts, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Après Bar, ensuring seamless service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Manage dining operations, maintain high standards of food quality, and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and develop a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, providing coaching, feedback, and recognition to drive performance and retention.
- Marketing and Sales: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional plans, drive sales growth, and increase revenue.
- Financial Management: Manage cash handling, inventory, and labor costs, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.
- Customer Experience: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience at the Après Bar.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 2-5 years of high-volume restaurant management experience, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and driving sales growth.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to multitask, and proficiency in point-of-sale systems and financial management software.
- Certifications: Serving it Right certification and ability to obtain any necessary certifications or licenses.
