Wild Blue Restaurant and Bar: Pastry Cook Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team at Wild Blue Restaurant and Bar. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality products meet established standards.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Prepare special orders, meeting customer demands and expectations.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on pastry cooking and preparation.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
