Restaurant Manager

At Vail Resorts, we're committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences that exceed our guests' expectations. As a Restaurant Manager at our iconic Garibaldi Lift Co. Bar in Whistler, you'll play a key role in leading our Food and Beverage team to achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring seamless service and high-quality food preparation.
- Develop and implement marketing plans to promote our dining location and drive sales.
- Oversee administrative duties, including hiring, cash management, reservations, budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and records management.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain facility standards for food preparation, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation.
- Lead and develop your team, providing feedback, coaching, and recognition to ensure exceptional service and high employee engagement.
- Participate in leadership forums to provide input on dining operations, training, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's or Culinary degree preferred.
- Serving it Right certification.
- 2-5 years of high-volume Bar/Restaurant Managerial experience.
- 3-5 years of experience supervising 50+ employees year-round.
- Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout a shift, lift and/or carry up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English; bilingual preferred.
- Ability to ski or snowboard strongly preferred.
