About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Léo, a trendy hub for all-day dining located in the Le Westin Tremblant hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations
  • Supervise and train junior cooks to ensure high-quality dishes are prepared consistently
  • Monitor kitchen inventory and ordering to minimize waste and optimize stock levels
  • Collaborate with the FOH team to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experience
  • Participate in menu development and implementation, ensuring dishes meet our high culinary standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Other duties as assigned by the Chef or management

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of cooking experience in a fast-paced, high-performing restaurant
  • Culinary diploma/degree is an asset
  • Proficiency in knife handling and professional cooking skills
  • Able to spend 100% of the time standing
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train junior cooks
