The Peter Lougheed Centre Addictions and Mental Health Program is a unique and challenging environment where you can make a real difference in people's lives. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will engage in collaborative efforts to provide holistic and comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those experiencing acute psychiatric illness. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized plans of care, delivering targeted interventions, and facilitating group content to promote recovery and wellness.
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will utilize nursing processes through critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making. You will also have the opportunity to teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families.
Description
This position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. As a Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse on Unit 25, you will have access to ongoing training and education opportunities, as well as a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
Additional Required Qualifications
This position has been identified and is anticipated to transition to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. By applying for this position, you will be considered for transfer to Recovery Alberta if selected.
