Emergency Nurse Specialist

The Royal Alexandra Hospital is a leading tertiary care facility in Edmonton, serving a diverse community with complex medical needs. As an Emergency Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's excellence in emergency medicine.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer safe and effective nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
- Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with interprofessional healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, adjusting care as needed.
- Minimum 1 year experience in emergency nursing within the last 2 years.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider certification.
- Registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
