Intensive Care Nurse Specialist

Job Opportunity:
The Northeast Community Health Centre Emergency Department is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. As an Emergency Department RN, you will work in a fast-paced environment that requires strong communication skills, ability to manage and adapt to challenging situations, and the physical stamina to tolerate extended periods of time standing or sitting.
About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities and populations, while taking necessary steps to ensure their safety and well-being. You will utilize nursing processes, through critical thinking, problem solving and decision making, as well as teach, counsel and advocate on behalf of patients and their families.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
- Additional Required Qualifications: Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
