Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Legal Administrator to join our team at Fire Safety and Protection LLC (FSP). As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting our legal team with administrative union and paralegal duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Legal Document Preparation and Review: Assist with the preparation and review of legal documents, union and nonunion contracts, and agreements.
  • Employee Record Management: Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Recruitment Support: Support the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
  • HR Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Employee Onboarding and Offboarding: Coordinate and manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Compliance and Research: Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and conduct research on legal and HR-related topics as needed.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Prepare reports and presentations for HR and legal departments.
  • Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution: Assist with employee relations and conflict resolution.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • Paralegal Certification: Paralegal certification is a plus.
  • Union Relations Experience: Knowledge in union relations and administration required.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR administration or as a paralegal.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of HR processes and legal compliance, excellent organizational and time management skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
