Business Development Director

We're seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to champion our cutting-edge A.I. platform and Professional Translations solutions. As an individual contributor, you'll drive the sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation, engaging with C-level executives and department managers.
This role is ideal for a resourceful self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to exceptional client service. If you're energized by autonomy, problem-solving, and achieving ambitious goals, we want you on our Alexa Translations team.
Responsibilities- Strategic prospecting and prioritizing high-opportunity prospects in assigned target markets.
- Building and maintaining a solid pipeline of opportunities with a mix of near-term and longer-term close dates.
- Managing the end-to-end sales cycle through active prospecting, handling inbound leads, securing effective deal closure, and proactively managing ongoing relationships with subscription clients.
- Developing and nurturing relationships across assigned accounts and prospects, identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Ensuring high client satisfaction by offering guidance on best practices, serving as a bridge between clients and internal teams, and actively managing subscription client accounts to drive retention.
- Documenting client communications and tracking sales metrics in HubSpot, aligning actions with corporate strategy and departmental priorities.
- Demonstrating creative thinking, handling pressure, and consistently meeting monthly sales targets.
- 5+ years of proven success in strategic selling to complex accounts.
- Full proficiency in professional-level English and French required.
- Subject matter expertise in legal, financial, or insurance industries is a valuable asset.
- Strong track record of successfully managing all aspects of the sales cycle.
- Proven ability to manage and develop relationships with C-level executives and senior managers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and CRM software (HubSpot).
- Active engagement on Social Media platforms (LinkedIn, blogs, and postings).
- Verifiable track record of success in selling B2B SaaS solutions, a bonus.
