Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Solutions Delivery group, you will play a crucial role in creating and establishing a new function within our organization.

You will collaborate with Solutions Delivery, Technology, and business unit leaders to develop the responsibilities for the role, while simultaneously performing these duties.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Gaining a deep understanding of business processes, goals, and objectives to anticipate and address the needs of the business.
  • Serving as a liaison and primary point of contact between business units, IT, Solution Architect, and other service providers to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Collaborating with business leaders to develop and implement strategic plans that support business unit objectives.
  • Building, fostering, and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, and external partners.
  • Facilitating regular meetings and communication between business units and service providers to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Ensuring that services delivered by IT or other departments meet agreed-upon standards and expectations of the business.
  • Addressing and resolving any issues or conflicts that arise between the business and service providers in a timely and effective manner.
  • Monitoring performance of services and solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and performance standards.
  • Identifying and analyzing opportunities for process improvements and enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Performing regular reviews with the business on benefit realization after completion of projects.
  • Developing and delivering regular reports on service performance, value realization, and other key metrics to business leaders.
  • Collaborating closely with the Business Analyst (BA) to ensure that strategic business needs are accurately captured, analyzed, and translated into clear requirements and effective solutions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Business Relationship Manager or similar role.
  • Bachelor degree in a related discipline.
  • Previous Consulting or client service delivery experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to build trust and influence others.
  • Teamwork mindset – ability to successfully interact with individuals within and outside of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-Starter – Possess initiative and able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Travel/Aviation experience is an asset.
  • Experience in finance is an asset.
