PLATO is seeking a seasoned Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the Alberta region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and leading strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a growth strategy for the Alberta region
- Manage new-client and base-customer growth across enterprise and government accounts
- Build and maintain key business partner relationships
- Participate in industry networking events and conferences
- Lead on strategic proposals and pitches
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop region-specific strategies
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities
- Share market insights and customer feedback with internal teams to inform service improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience selling IT services to enterprise and public sector clients in Alberta
- Proven track record as a Business Development Lead achieving sales objectives and targets
- Experience using CRM software to manage customer interactions
- Strong negotiation and business management skills
