We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our Primary Health Care team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing expert knowledge and skills on a wide range of issues related to nutrition and health promotion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of Primary Health Care services, including health promotion, illness prevention, screening, treatment, and monitoring of individuals with diabetes and other chronic health conditions. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to increase community capacity as an educator, researcher, and clinical practitioner.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human nutrition, dietetics, and healthcare, with a proven track record of providing high-quality patient care and education. You will be a strong communicator and team player, with excellent time management and organizational skills.

About You- Master's degree in Human Nutrition or related field
- Current registration with the Nova Scotia Dietetic Association
- Experience in Primary Health Care and diabetes management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Computer proficiency in MS Office and electronic medical records
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
This is a part-time position, with 45 hours bi-weekly. The hourly rate is $43.42.
