Administrative Assistant to Associate Dean, School of Management

Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant to the Associate Dean, School of Management provides senior administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the office and project-based initiatives. This role involves administrative, academic, and financial tasks that cover a wide range of college business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and faculty, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and process contracts, invoices, and expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with college policies.
- Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and events, utilizing strong organizational and time management skills.
- Develop and maintain databases, files, and contact lists, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Support program faculty and Manager Academic Operations in completing and distributing course outlines and curriculum planners.
- Act as a senior student service representative, providing timely and accurate information to students, prospective students, staff, and the public.
- Intervene in complex inquiries and difficult cases, determining when and where to refer issues for action.
- Provide administrative support to other administrators or projects as required.
Requirements:
- Three-year diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Business, Executive Office Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum three years' experience in a senior administrative role, preferably in a dynamic office environment with diverse customer/student service relations.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lift up to 20 kg (44 lbs).
- Demonstrated commitment to upholding the College's priorities on diversity and equity.
