Associate Dean, School of Accounting and Finance

George Brown College is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Associate Dean to lead the School of Accounting and Finance. The successful candidate will provide academic leadership and management of the School, aligning with the College's strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Dean and leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans for the Centre and School.
- Supervise and direct faculty, managers, support staff, and students within the portfolio.
- Lead the review, development, implementation, and quality assurance of new and existing programs and initiatives.
- Ensure accessibility, reduction of barriers, and application of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in courses and programs.
- Manage multiple, diverse teams and lead partnership development with external academic and community partners.
- Lead the development, monitoring, and directing of the School's operating budget.
- Master's degree required; Doctorate degree preferred.
- Relevant post-grad degree and experience in education, including management/leadership experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching, curriculum development, and leadership.
- Experience managing multiple, diverse teams and leading partnership development.
- Skills in systems-thinking, strategic planning, and creative problem-solving.
- Digital skills, including expertise in virtual management and relevant experience with software to support teaching, research, and administrative activities.
