Job Title: HR Business Partner

FortisBC is seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will work closely with client groups to provide labour relations and human resources advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide labour relations and human resources advisory services to client groups
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with senior leaders and leadership teams
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to ensure alignment with HR and company strategies
  • Offer advice and recommendations on Labour Relations and Human Resources decisions
  • Facilitate the investigation, negotiation, and resolution of disputes related to grievances
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline such as Business Administration or Human Resources
  • Minimum of 5 years recent experience in an advisory capacity within a complex unionized environment
  • Designation as a Certified Human Resources Professional (CPHR) preferred
