Key Responsibilities- Business Partnership: Collaborate with senior leaders and business managers to develop and implement HR strategies that align with our business priorities.
- Labor Relations: Provide guidance and support to managers on labor relations matters, including collective agreements, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
- Organizational Effectiveness: Partner with client groups to design succession plans, identify training and development gaps, and support career development discussions.
- HR Programs: Provide direction and guidance on the execution of annual HR programs, including compensation planning, performance management, and talent reviews.
- Education and Experience: Post-secondary education in human resources management, labour relations management, or a related field. 5+ years of professional-level human resource generalist experience, working and collaborating with business leaders in a consultative capacity.
- Skills and Knowledge: Strong analytical skills, ability to identify trends and patterns of behavior. Strong partnering, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft applications and HRIS systems.
- Personal Qualities: Collaborative, responsive, and service-oriented approach. Proven ability to establish credibility and influence change. Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
