Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting our business leaders and employees in achieving our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with our business priorities.
  • Provide guidance and support on labor relations, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Partner with the Global Centers of Excellence to implement HR strategies and programs that drive business results.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business and industry trends to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in human resources management, labor relations management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional-level human resource generalist experience, working and collaborating with business leaders in a consultative capacity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns of behavior.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and a strong understanding of labor and employment laws, regulations, and procedures.
