Overview:
As a Strategic Human Resources Partner, you will collaborate and engage proactively with organizational leaders, including senior executives and general managers, focusing on annual workforce planning, succession strategies, talent development, and leadership coaching.

Business Collaboration:
Work closely with Global HR teams and Centers of Excellence (COE) to execute human resources strategies, practices, processes, and programs that align with strategic objectives and business priorities.

Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, providing counsel on HR, workforce, and leadership-related matters.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of Finning's operations to enhance support for business leaders.

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and provide guidance on compliance matters.

Employee Relations:
Support leadership in the investigation process, including resolution, application of progressive discipline, and potential employee termination.

Assist leaders in addressing employee performance and behavioral issues using performance management tools and conflict resolution techniques.

Organizational Effectiveness:
Collaborate with client groups to design succession plans for key roles and identify training and development needs while supporting the identification of high-potential employees.

Assist leaders in crafting Career Development Plans and coach them on effective career development discussions.

Provide insights and support to leaders in reviewing and designing their organizational structures in response to evolving business needs and opportunities. Stay informed about industry practices and trends to capitalize on opportunities that enhance client operations, including boosting team engagement and promoting inclusion and diversity initiatives.

Foster and develop the organization's culture to create a conducive environment for success.

Human Resources Programs:
Guide and assist in the successful implementation of annual HR programs across Finning, including compensation planning, performance management, and talent reviews.

Offer feedback to HR Centers of Excellence regarding the effectiveness of corporate programs and initiatives.

Qualifications:
A degree in human resources management or a related field.
5+ years of professional-level human resources generalist experience, collaborating with business leaders in a consultative role.

Experience with HRIS systems is required; familiarity with Workday is considered an asset.

HR designation (CPHR) or significant progress towards completion is preferred.

Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.
