Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Department Manager to join our Cosmetics team at London Drugs Limited. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for assisting the Department Manager in directing staff to maintain merchandising, customer service, and operational standards within the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Department Manager in directing staff to maintain merchandising, customer service, and operational standards within the department.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Assist with visual merchandising and display of products.
  • Process transactions and handle customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of management retail experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of cosmetic products.
  • Strong skills in merchandising and creative display of product.
  • Professional sales experience.
  • Proven ability to build the business and drive sales growth.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

This is a Regular Part-Time position, requiring a minimum of 1456 hours per year, up to 40 hours per week, as needed. Applicants must be available to work a flexible schedule, Monday to Sunday.
