Assistant Manager for Cosmetics Division

Role Summary

The Assistant Manager for Cosmetics Division is a pivotal role designed to cultivate the skills necessary for the Department Manager position. This role involves supporting the Department Manager in guiding staff to uphold merchandising, customer service, and operational excellence within the cosmetics department, alongside other managerial responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities

This position is heavily focused on customer interaction, requiring the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while delivering exceptional service in a professional and courteous manner. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in managing daily operations and staff direction.
  • Maintaining high standards of merchandising and customer service.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Building strong relationships with customers and team members.

Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with at least one year of retail management experience; however, those without prior management experience may also be considered. Ideal candidates will possess:
  • Extensive knowledge of cosmetic products.
  • Strong merchandising and creative display skills.
  • Professional sales experience.
  • Excellent communication abilities with customers, vendors, and team members.

Work Schedule

As a Regular Part-Time employee, you will be scheduled for a minimum of 1456 hours annually, with the potential for up to 40 hours per week as needed. Flexibility is essential, as availability is required from Monday to Sunday.
