Position Overview

The role of the Assistant Manager in the Cosmetics Department is designed to foster growth and prepare individuals for the responsibilities associated with the Department Manager role. This position involves supporting the Department Manager in guiding staff to uphold merchandising, customer service, and operational standards within the department, along with various management responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in directing team members to ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of merchandising and product presentation.
  • Engage with customers to provide quality service in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Support the Department Manager in executing management duties and strategies.

Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with at least one year of retail management experience; however, those without management experience may also be considered. Candidates should possess extensive knowledge of cosmetic products, strong merchandising skills, and professional sales experience.

As a Regular Part-Time employee, you will be scheduled for a minimum of 1456 hours per year, with flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week as needed. Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
