Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation

Oversee the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.

Inventory Management

Estimate and manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and ensuring that all necessary items are available.

Quality Control

Ensure that all food and service meet the highest quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and decision-making.

Reporting

Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Team Leadership

Supervise and motivate a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.

Security and Safety

Ensure that all staff members undergo a criminal record check and adhere to all health and safety protocols.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.

Physical Demands

Perform a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending, with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Hours

30 to 40 hours per week.
