Position Overview
The role of the Assistant Manager in the Cosmetics Department is designed to develop and prepare individuals for the responsibilities associated with the Department Manager role. This position involves assisting the Department Manager in guiding staff to uphold merchandising, customer service, and operational standards within the department, along with various management responsibilities as needed.
Key Responsibilities
This position emphasizes customer service, requiring frequent interaction with customers. The ideal candidate must thrive in a dynamic environment while delivering exceptional service in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.
Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with at least one year of retail management experience; however, those without management experience may also be considered. A solid understanding of cosmetic products, coupled with strong merchandising skills and creative product displays, is essential. Professional sales experience is also required.
Your ability to drive business growth will be demonstrated through a strong commitment to adhering to and enforcing all company policies, procedures, and standards. Effective communication with customers, vendors, employees, and management is crucial.
