**The Role**

We are seeking an Indigenous Wellness Liaison to join our team at St. Paul's Hospital in downtown Vancouver. As a key member of our Indigenous Wellness and Reconciliation team, you will play a critical role in supporting the health and wellness of Indigenous patients and their families.

**Job Description**

The Indigenous Wellness Liaison will provide day-to-day consultation and navigational support for Indigenous patients, family, and community members. This includes acting as a liaison to understand and identify client needs, providing cultural interpretation and/or health literacy translation services, and supporting the provision of culturally safe care.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Provides support and acts as a resource for healthcare providers regarding the provision of culturally-safe care

- Facilitates client/family access to Cultural Practices and/or access to the All Nations Sacred Space within St. Paul's Hospital

- Coordinates connections to Indigenous community resources and supports

- Provides patient support services within the hospital system by initiating and maintaining working relationships with Indigenous clients

- Assists clients in addressing their concerns by linking with the Patient Care Quality Office complaint process
