Position Overview
The Project Manager reports directly to the Commercial Division Manager and is responsible for overseeing all facets of assigned projects. This includes managing the project from initiation through design, production, delivery, and installation, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architectural Technology, Construction Management, or Engineering;
  • Project Management Professional Certification is advantageous.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry.

Work Environment

  • Office-based with site visits;
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required for site work;
  • Health and Safety training is mandatory;
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to interpret architectural plans;
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards and familiarity with products and systems;
  • Mentorship capabilities for Project Coordinators;
  • Experience managing large and complex projects;
  • Effective communication skills with team members;
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and other relevant software;
  • Commitment to teamwork and core company values;
  • Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze project specifications and documents to ensure accountability;
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, highlighting critical milestones;
  • Facilitate meetings with relevant stakeholders to discuss project scope and requirements;
  • Review and approve shop drawings prior to engineering submission;
  • Proactively identify potential issues and propose solutions;
  • Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely delivery of materials;
  • Provide regular project status updates to management;
  • Support other Project Managers as needed;
  • Oversee mock-up coordination as required;
  • Ensure production schedules align with project timelines;
  • Collaborate with site staff to resolve outstanding issues;
  • Participate in scheduled meetings with consultants and site teams;
  • Lead project teams to meet deadlines and client expectations;
  • Prepare and maintain a 6-week look-ahead schedule post-approval;
  • Engage with finance on project budgeting and valuation;
  • Represent Accoravillage in dealings with clients and suppliers;
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
