Project Manager
Reporting directly to the Commercial Division Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of assigned projects. This includes managing the project from initiation through design, production, and installation, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints. Key responsibilities include:

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architectural Technology, Construction Management, or Engineering;
  • Project Management Professional Certification is advantageous.

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.

Work Environment

  • Office and on-site visits;
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory for site work;
  • Comprehensive Health and Safety training is required;
  • Flexibility to work overtime as necessary.

Essential Skills

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret architectural drawings;
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards and familiarity with relevant products and systems;
  • Mentorship capabilities for Project Coordinators;
  • Experience managing large and complex projects;
  • Effective communication skills for daily interactions with team members;
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and other internal software;
  • Commitment to teamwork and alignment with company values;
  • Self-sufficient and capable of working independently.

Specific Job Duties

  • Analyze project specifications and identify discrepancies to ensure accountability;
  • Develop a project schedule with critical milestones;
  • Facilitate meetings with relevant stakeholders as necessary;
  • Review shop drawings prior to engineer approval;
  • Proactively identify potential issues and propose solutions;
  • Coordinate with the Department Manager to ensure timely delivery of essential information;
  • Prepare regular project status updates;
  • Assist in coordinating mock-ups as required;
  • Ensure compliance with production schedules;
  • Collaborate with site staff to resolve outstanding issues;
  • Participate in scheduled meetings with consultants and site teams;
  • Lead project teams to meet deadlines and client expectations;
  • Prepare necessary documentation for project quotations;
  • Engage with finance for budget management;
  • Represent the company in interactions with clients and suppliers;
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Division Manager.
