Position Overview: Construction Systems Team Lead

We are seeking a **motivated and results-oriented professional** to oversee our construction systems team. This role is crucial for driving financial performance and making strategic operational decisions that positively impact our projects and community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Lead and mentor** project management and estimation teams, ensuring effective coordination of estimation requests for construction systems.
  • **Engage with major clients** to implement strategies aimed at enhancing revenue and profitability in line with the operational unit's objectives.
  • **Direct and oversee** sales, operations, and business functions for the team.
  • **Collaborate with senior management** to formulate both short-term and long-term action plans that reflect market trends and the company's value proposition.
  • **Manage team performance** based on established company indicators to achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • **Foster professional relationships** with clients and stakeholders to ensure that project delivery meets high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • **Work closely with project managers** and stakeholders to guarantee that project execution is both efficient and timely, while upholding design and scheduling integrity.
  • **Collaborate with the team** to ensure project feasibility and cost assessments are in line with budgetary constraints.
  • **Support the T.I.M.E. initiative** across all projects by implementing standardized processes, tools, governance, and reporting mechanisms.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of **five (5) years** of project management experience within the construction sector, with a solid grasp of various construction concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • A minimum of **five (5) years** of experience in general business, sales, and/or operations management.
  • A comprehensive understanding of various **building automation systems**, fire alarm and security systems, alongside a strong knowledge of the electrical trade.
  • Demonstrated ability to **interpret technical information**, contracts, and construction documents effectively.
  • Proven experience in **team management** and development.
  • Familiarity with business software and/or estimation experience is considered advantageous.
  • Proficiency in **computer skills** and Microsoft Office; experience with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project and/or Primavera is preferred.
