Position Overview: Construction Systems Team Lead

As a **Construction Systems Team Lead**, you will play a pivotal role in steering financial outcomes and making key operational choices. Your contributions will significantly impact our projects and the community we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and mentor project management and estimation teams; facilitate estimation requests for construction systems.
  • Engage with essential clients and execute strategies aimed at enhancing revenue and profitability in line with operational unit objectives.
  • Direct the sales, operational, and business functions for the group.
  • Collaborate with the director to formulate both short-term and long-term action plans that reflect market dynamics and the company's value proposition.
  • Manage the team based on performance metrics to achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Foster professional relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project delivery meets high customer satisfaction standards.
  • Work in tandem with project managers and stakeholders to guarantee efficient and timely project execution while preserving design and schedule integrity.
  • Partner with the team to ensure project feasibility and cost evaluations align with budgetary constraints.
  • Support the T.I.M.E. initiative across all projects; implement standardized processes, tools, governance, and reporting.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five (5) years of project management experience within the construction sector, with a solid grasp of various construction concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in general business, sales, and/or operations management.
  • A comprehensive understanding of diverse building automation systems, fire alarm and security systems, along with a robust knowledge of the electrician trade.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technical information, contracts, and construction documents.
  • Proven experience in team management and development.
  • Familiarity with business software and/or estimation experience is advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office; experience with scheduling software (Microsoft Project and/or Primavera) is preferred.
