Job Title: Licensed Assistant Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Licensed Assistant Manager to join our team at Pearle Vision. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth, fostering a positive and productive retail-selling environment, and ensuring excellent customer service and associate satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive profitable store sales by developing a retail-selling culture through effective coaching and training of retail staff.
  • Attain sales goals, comp store sales growth, and store objectives through strategic planning and execution.
  • Oversee and coach retail staff to increase customer transactions and improve sales performance.
  • Manage payroll costs effectively and maintain gross margin in accordance with company standards.
  • Conduct quality exams and provide exceptional customer service to drive repeat business and customer retention.
  • Recruit, train, develop, motivate, and retain associates to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure store merchandising and visual appearance meet company standards.
  • Execute local and national marketing programs and initiatives to drive sales growth.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience typically achieved with 2+ years as an Optical Associate.
  • Proper licensure.
  • Proven track record of sales growth through sales skills and accountability for sales results.
  • Proven experience and results in a retail or customer service establishment.
  • Ability to facilitate, train, coach, and develop excellent customer-oriented retail/sales-oriented associates/teams.
  • Ability to present and implement decisive and creative solutions to issues/opportunities to grow the business.
  • Success in store merchandising and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage priorities through adaptability, willingness to take calculated risks, and follow-up.
