Job Title: Licensed Assistant Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Licensed Assistant Manager to join our team at Pearle Vision in Hamilton, ON. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth, fostering a positive and productive retail-selling environment, and ensuring excellent customer service and associate satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive profitable sales growth and increase customer transactions.
  • Manage payroll costs effectively and maintain high levels of associate satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct quality exams and implement retail-selling initiatives to increase the number of exams and conversion of exams to sales.
  • Recruit, train, and develop associates to ensure a high level of customer service and sales performance.
  • Ensure each store is effectively merchandised and presented according to standards, and execute local and national marketing programs and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or comparable experience, typically achieved with 2+ years as an Optical Associate.
  • Proper licensure and a proven track record of sales growth through sales skills and accountability for sales results.
  • Proven experience and results with a retail or customer service establishment, with the ability to facilitate, train, and coach excellent customer-oriented associates.
  • Ability to present and implement decisive and creative solutions to issues and opportunities to grow the business.
  • Success in store merchandising and attention to detail, with the ability to manage priorities through adaptability and willingness to take calculated risks.
